Teigan Isobel is a West Australian writer based in Melbourne Victoria, and has a keen interest in developing content for the family market.
Having worked in the children’s entertainment industry, Teigan was inspired to create enchanting stories for young audiences. Her work focuses on themes such as the power of unity, equality, forgiveness, and perseverance. With an avid love for travelling, many of her stories take you on a journey where you can explore amazing new destinations.
Teigan’s script Buggged was the winner of the inaugural Animal Logic Entertainment Screenplay Competition in 2021. In 2019 she attended the Rocaberti Writers Retreat in the stunning surrounds of the French countryside as part of a scholarship program. Her scripts have been finalists in numerous national and international screenwriting competitions. In 2020 her short story Hamrietta, won her a scholarship as part of the Reading is Fundamental initiative, which is the United States largest non-profit children’s literacy organisation.
Teigan is greatly inspired by beloved family stories from the likes of Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, J.K Rowling, C.S Lewis, and many more. From the loveable characters, to the whimsical worlds they encompass, Teigan’s passion lies within creating memorable moments such as those she grew up with as a child.
